Introscope
Supports IBM WebSphere
Wily Teams with IBM to Extend Introscope Version
2 for IBM's WebSphere Application Server
Wily to Deliver Introscope Version 2 for IBM WebSphere
to provide Java Web Application Performance Management
in live production Websites
San Francisco — JavaOne Conference — June 6,
2000 — Wily Technology, Inc., (www.wilytech.com), the
leader in Java Performance Management, announced that it
has teamed with IBM to deliver its new Introscope Java Web
Application Performance Management product for IBM's WebSphere
family of products. As a part of the agreement, Wily has
also joined IBM's WebSphere ISV partner program.
The objective of the agreement is the delivery of Wily's
innovative Introscope Java Application Performance management
product with support for IBM's WebSphere Advanced Edition,
WebSphere Enterprise Edition, and the entire WebSphere family.
The new Introscope features allow IBM eBusinesses and their
Solution Providers to monitor the performance of live WebSphere
Java Web Application sites so that they can quickly find
and fix production bottlenecks before their customers find
them.
Wily has also announced that it will feature IBM's WebSphere
Advanced Edition and Enterprise Edition as Strategic Partner
platforms and deliver Introscope PowerPack modules for IBM's
WebSphere family components including CICS, MQSeries, and
SanFrancisco.
Wily's Introscope is the only production Java Web Application
Performance Manager that can monitor live production websites.
The combination of a Java Web Application Server and Introscope
lets eBusinesses manage performance throughout the entire
application life cycle. Introscope's easy-to-understand Dashboards
allow production centers to see how each Java component is
operating and interacting with all other components including
the Java Web Application Server. With near-zero overhead,
Introscope can monitor live production systems —enabling
website managers to find production bottlenecks before their
customers see them.
"The combination of IBM's WebSphere and Wily's Introscope
gives our customers the first visibility into the performance
of the live Java web applications and the systems that support
them," said Lewis Cirne, Founder and CEO of Wily Technology. "Our
announcement today between IBM and Wily shows our commitments
to delivering web application solutions on which our customers
can build the next generation of eBusiness applications."
