Introscope Version 2.6 And Interoperability With iPlanet™ Application

announced the latest edition of its Web application monitor,
Introscope 2.6, which includes automatic performance management
for the iPlanet™ Application Server. Introscope 2.6
gives application server developers and system administrators
the ability to automatically monitor the performance of mission-critical
Java™ technology-based applications with component-level
precision.
Unlike other performance solutions that monitor applications
from the outside, Wily's Introscope is a comprehensive solution
that manages the entire system by analyzing performance from
within the application itself. By working from the inside
out, Introscope manages the performance of third party Java-based
applications running on an application server platform, JDBC™ database
connections, distributed requests (RMI and CORBA) and can
pinpoint the exact cause of any performance bottlenecks whether
an internal Java-based application component (Servlet, EJB,
method) or an external interface such as the security server
or database.
