Joins Wily Technology as Sr. Vice-President of Worldwide
Sales and Business Development

the appointment of Amy Lewis as senior vice-president of
worldwide sales and business development. In her new role
at Wily, Lewis will manage worldwide sales, partner and business
development and professional services, with overall responsibility
for revenue production, partner relationships and customer
success.
Lewis comes to Wily with an extensive sales background in
enterprise software. Most recently, she served as senior
vice-president of worldwide sales at Allaire Corporation
(Macromedia) and served on the executive team that brought
the company through a highly successful IPO. Lewis built
the company's sales organization in North America, Europe
and Asia, developed strategic alliances and partner organizations
and also developed sales and distribution strategies for
the company's complete line of software products. Over her
four-year tenure, she brought the worldwide sales team from
an organization of 5 to 200, with revenue growth from $10M
to $120M.
Prior to Allaire she worked at Claris Corporation as director
of North American field sales where she developed the company's
direct selling efforts into the corporate, education and
government markets and drove a successful volume licensing
business, which included wins at numerous high-profile accounts
such as the Motorola, Nortel, Qualcomm and the University
of California System.
Lewis also served as manager of North America Channel Sales
for AppleSoft, the software arm of Apple Computer. Lewis
began her career in the high tech industry at Farallon Computing,
where she joined at the early start-up stage as director
of sales and helped build revenues from $4M to $40M for the
company's range of networking hardware and network management
software.
