Accelerates Its Global Expansion with Offices in Europe and
Asia
New Offices Offer Enhanced Support for Wily Customers and
Partners
Burlingame, CA - July 8, 2002 - Wily Technology, the leader
in Enterprise Web Application Management, today announced
that it has established sales offices in Europe and Asia-Pacific
to meet the growing demand for enterprise Java application
performance management solutions worldwide and to better
serve the company's expanding international customer base.
Ms. Beata Gonzalez-Blanco has been named director of Wily
Technology Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and has
recruited additional staff to begin operations. Ms. Gonzalez-Blanco
brings more than 16 years of IT industry experience, having
managed partners, distributors, strategic alliances, and
direct sales forces for several leading technology firms.
In addition to working for Oracle, Sybase and Borland, she
has served as director of strategic alliances for PSDI/MRO
where she managed IBM, Oracle, Baan & PeopleSoft partnerships;
EMEA director for Object Design/eXcelon, where she managed
both direct and indirect sales; and EMEA sales director for
SSA GT. Wily's EMEA offices are located near London in Staines,
Middlesex, U.K.
Mr. Nick McNaughton has been named director of Wily Technology
Asia Pacific and is responsible for sales as well as support
of Wily customers and partners in the region. For more than
10 years, Mr. McNaughton has specialized in establishing
US software companies in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to
Wily Technology he spent four years as director, Asia/Pacific
region for Allaire Corporation, now part of Macromedia. Prior
to Allaire he spent three years based in Hong Kong establishing
Asia-wide distribution for Claris Corporation, now FileMaker
Inc. Wily Asia Pacific offices are located in Canberra, Australia.
