Wily Technology
and IBM to Host Web Seminar Titled Creating and Managing
High Performance E-Business Applications with IBM WebSphere
V5 and Wily 4
Brisbane, CA February 4, 2003 Wily Technology,
the leader in Enterprise Java Application Management, today
announced a joint Web seminar with IBM titled Creating
and Managing High Performance e-Business Applications with
IBM WebSphere V5 and Wily 4 to be held Thursday, February
27 at 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (11 a.m. Pacific Standard
Time).
During the Web seminar, Michael Malzacher, WebSphere Application
Server Product Manager of IBM and Chris Farrell, Director
of Technical Marketing of Wily Technology, will demonstrate
how WebSphere V5 and Wily 4 can help to make business-critical
applications easier to deploy, manage and control and most
importantly, high performing. The Seminar will include a
live demonstration of Introscope and Introscope PowerPack
for WebSphere, which was designed in cooperation with IBM's
WebSphere development team. Those wishing to attend can register here.
Wily 4 is the first comprehensive Java application management
solution for production systems. Wily 4 includes Introscope,
Wilys flagship production Java application monitor;
Introscope Transaction Tracer, which allows IT personnel
to track individual problem transactions and isolate the
components causing bottlenecks in the transaction path; and
Introscope LeakHunter, which identifies hard-to-find potential
memory leaks in J2EE applications. Wily 4 also features Wily's
family of Introscope PowerPacks and extensions, as well as
Wily's worldwide Services offerings. Wily 4 offers a Whole
Application View into the entire production application
environment, allowing IT teams to identify performance problems
whether inside the application itself, the application server,
or in back-end transactional and supporting systems such
as DB2, IBM CICS Transaction Gateway and WebSphere MQ.
This Web seminar gives IBM customers a great opportunity
to learn how Wilys Introscope and IBMs WebSphere
work together to create a powerful platform for deploying
and managing enterprise-class J2EE applications, said
Mike Malloy, vice president of marketing communications at
Wily Technology. Introscopes deep visibility
into the whole Java application environment allows WebSphere
customers to better ensure their applications meet rigorous
demands for performance while delivering superior Quality
of Service.
