Wily Technology's Introscope Monitors Health and Availability of IBM WebSphere Portal

Wily's Family of Products for WebSphere Platform Creates Comprehensive Management Solution

Brisbane, CA — July 28, 2003 — Wily Technology, the leader in Enterprise Java Application Management, today announced performance monitoring support for IBM WebSphere* Portal. Wily's support for IBM WebSphere Portal combines with Wily's suite of products for monitoring the health and availability of WebSphere applications, WebSphere Application Server and IBM connectors to back-end systems to create the first comprehensive management solution for the WebSphere platform.

Introscope offers a Whole Application™ view into the entire application environment, allowing IT operations teams and Java developers to identify performance problems whether inside the application itself, the application server, or in back-end transactional and supporting systems. Introscope's Blame™ technology isolates component-level bottlenecks all the way down to individual Servlets, JSPs, EJBs, Classes, Methods and more. Because Introscope is completely Java-based, enterprise IT teams can use Wily's AutoProbe™ technology to automatically monitor the health and availability of key IBM WebSphere Portal components. Additionally, Introscope Transaction Tracer can identify individual WebSphere Portal transactions and rapidly isolate poorly performing components.

Wily also provides monitoring and management support for IBM WebSphere Application Server 5.0.
