Wily Technology
Announces Integration of Introscope® with Fujitsu Limited's
Interstage Application Server
Integration Will Make It Easier To Tune Fujitsu's Interstage
Applications for Maximum Performance and Availability
Brisbane, CA — September 29, 2003 — Wily Technology,
the leader in Enterprise Java Application Management, today
announced plans to directly integrate Introscope, Wily's
comprehensive Enterprise Java Application Management solution,
with Fujitsu's Interstage* Application Server. The integration
of the two products is a feature of Interstage Application
Server V6, recently announced by Fujitsu. By offering automatic
visibility into J2EE applications, the integration of Introscope
with Interstage Application Server will make it easier for
enterprise IT personnel to tune Interstage applications for
maximum performance and availability.
Used by companies worldwide, Introscope offers a Whole Application™ view
into the entire Java environment, allowing IT teams to identify
performance problems whether inside the application itself,
the application server, or in back-end transactional and
supporting systems. Introscope's Blame™ technology
isolates bottlenecks all the way down to individual Servlets,
JSPs, EJBs, Classes, Methods and more. Wily's patented low-overhead
agent technology gives IT staff the ability to manage live
production applications and their operating environment 24x7.
The direct integration of Introscope's AutoProbe™ technology
with Interstage Application Server will enable enterprise
customers to monitor Interstage applications and Interstage
Application Server automatically, as soon as Introscope is
installed.
"Wily and Fujitsu are working together to ensure that Fujitsu
customers have the tools they need to build, deploy and manage
world-class Java applications," said Steve Tucker, Wily's
vice president of product management. "Introscope monitors
the health and availability of Java applications, application
servers and connections to back-end systems in live production
environments and pinpoints the source of performance bottlenecks
quickly. The integration of Wily's AutoProbe technology will
allow IT teams to monitor Interstage applications automatically,
as soon as Introscope is installed."
Interstage Application Server V6 is the foundation of the
Interstage collaborative business integration platform. Interstage
Application Server delivers the reliability, scalability
and flexibility required by companies who are deploying large-scale,
mission-critical e-business applications. By providing exceptional
performance, reliability and availability, Interstage provides
IT teams with the core elements needed for building and deploying
world-class Java applications. Additionally, Interstage supports
open standards such as J2EE and CORBA and programming languages
such as Java, C, C++, Cobol and ActiveX, which allow customers
to integrate legacy applications more easily.
"The addition of Wily's AutoProbe technology to Interstage
Application Server is an important feature of Interstage
V6," said Mitsuhiro Hashimoto, General Manager of Middleware
Platform Division, Software Group, Fujitsu Limited. "Fujitsu
understands that in addition to a strong platform for developing
and deploying robust Java applications, our customers also
need a management solution to help them ensure high levels
of performance and availability. Interstage Application Server's
support for Wily Introscope gives IT teams the deep visibility
they need to identify and eliminate performance issues before
they affect the end user. Together, Wily and Fujitsu are
making it easier for enterprises to deploy reliable, scalable
applications that meet rigorous performance demands."

with a strong foundation for developing mission-critical

and available. ITF is pleased to be working with Fujitsu
