Announces Record-Breaking Growth; Sales More Than Doubled
in 2003
Company Ends Fiscal Year with Best Quarter To Date; Achieves

Brisbane, CA — January 27, 2004 — Wily Technology,

record-breaking results as the Company ended fiscal-year
2003 with its best quarter to-date, along with four straight
quarters of consecutive growth. Continuing to demonstrate
strong demand for its industry-leading application management
solutions, sales for the Wily family of products more than
doubled in 2003.
Wily's continued market leadership was bolstered by key
customer wins and growth in all key industry sectors including
retail, financial, telecommunications, manufacturing and
government. Key customer additions in the quarter included
AT&T Labs, AT&T Wireless Services, Bear Stearns,
Blue Cross Blue-Shield of Alabama, Covad Communications,
Deutsche-Bank, General American Corporation, First Data Merchant
Services, Ingram Micro, John Lewis Partnership, RTC, Telecordia,
University of Michigan, and many others. All of these companies
are leaders in their respective industries; and all of them
understand the importance of delivering superior application
performance and the serious impact on revenue that can result
from poor performance or downtime.

In 2003, Wily Technology significantly expanded its application
management product portfolio with 14 product releases. In
addition to new releases of its flagship offering, Wily 4,
which includes its patented Introscope® software, an
essential solution used by enterprises to monitor the availability
and performance of large-scale applications in real-time
production environments, Wily introduced Introscope Transaction
Tracer™ and Introscope LeakHunter™. These additions
to Wily's family of application management solutions enable
enterprises to monitor specific transactions and find memory
leaks in J2EE applications, providing increased value and
unparalleled visibility into high-volume, production applications.
These pioneering technical innovations enabled Wily Technology
to be recognized as a leader in the J2EE Application Management
Magic Quadrant, published by Gartner, Inc. in May 2003.
Furthermore, Wily continued to execute on its strategy of
supporting the industry-leading infrastructure platforms
including BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, Oracle 10G, Fujitsu
Interstage and SunOne application server. Wily made it even
easier to manage the performance of integrating legacy and
back-end systems to Java and J2EE applications by introducing
