Unveils New J2EE Application Performance Services
Brisbane, CA — June 9, 2004 — Wily Technology,

a new J2EE Performance Consulting Practice to help its customers
and partners establish best practices for managing and monitoring

a suite of technical services, educational offerings, and

At the cornerstone of Wily's J2EE Performance Practice offerings

a rollout plan across life-cycle phases and develop customer

Education Services - Courses and Seminars
Wily's education services have been broadened to provide
Wily customers with real world experience of setting up Introscope
to manage Java applications as well as performing triage
and diagnosis of problem areas. Designed to help customers
apply information technology for competitive advantage, the
courses and seminars include:
- "Managing Java Applications using Introscope," teaches
customers how to manage applications using Introscope through
lecture and hands on labs. Participants will become familiar
with the process involved in managing an application and
how, when and why to use the features of Introscope to
accomplish those tasks.
- "Diagnosing J2EE Performance Problems Using
Introscope," teaches customers how to diagnose
certain classes of J2EE performance problems using Introscope.
Participants will learn in the hands on labs by performing
diagnoses on realistic performance problem scenarios
running in an application server.
- "Wily Administrator Seminar Series," teaches
customers how to install, manage and maintain Introscope.
Through lecture and hands on labs participants will learn
to configure and manage the Introscope database and flat
files. Participants will also discuss Workstation and Enterprise
Manager capacity planning and sizing as well as how to
configure security for Introscope.
