Wily Technology Achieves 85 Percent Growth in First Half of 2005
Brisbane, Calif. – August 16, 2005 – Wily Technology Inc., the leader in Enterprise Application Management, today announced it achieved revenue growth of 85 percent in the first half of 2005, compared to the same period in 2004. Throughout the first half of the year, Wily Technology increased sales of its application performance management solutions by delivering new technology, extending its partnership base and expanding internationally. Year-over-year growth for the second quarter of 2005 was 39 percent.
"Our strong customer momentum and rapidly expanding partner ecosystem validate that Wily offers the right solutions for this next generation of web applications, "said Dick Williams, president and CEO of Wily Technology, Inc. "More organizations select Wily for business-critical web application management than any other provider for a single reason—we solve the real problems facing customers today. With Wily, customers get end-to-end visibility into real transactions as they cross through heterogeneous systems, from the browser to connected back-ends. When revenue streams, customer service or other fundamental business functions are at stake, anything less than real-time intelligence on real transaction performance across the extended application is simply inadequate."
Strong Global Momentum
Adoption of Wily’s solutions grew among Global 2000 enterprises across all industries. Key new or extended customer relationships in the second quarter of 2005 included: Corporate Express; Questra; Weil, Gotshal & Manges; Far Eastone; Linktone; Akbank; AVEA; CPP Group plc; DekaBank; Dixons Group plc; Finaref; Garanti; Generali; HBoS plc; LogicaCMG; News International; Orange; PSA Peugeot Citroen; Siemens Business Services; and ThyssenKrupp Stahl AG.
Wily’s geographic expansion led to rapid growth in international markets, including year-over-year growth for first half of 2005 in Europe of 85 percent, and in Asia-Pacific of 340 percent.
New Partnerships
Wily expanded its global network of systems integrators, distributors and resellers to 58 in the second quarter of 2005, including TechnoMedia, Wily’s first partner in Mexico and Central America. Additional new partnerships that will bring greater penetration in vertical and geographic markets include: Ascendant Technology, Everett Consulting, and Wehrle Consulting.
