Wily Expands Partner Program to Meet Growing Demand from Technology Vendors and System Integrators

More Than 77 Partners in 31 Countries Work with Wily to Help Enterprises Manage Their Most Critical Business Applications

Brisbane, Calif. – October 10, 2005 – Wily Technology Inc., the leader in Enterprise Application Management, today announced the expansion of its global partner program to enable more technology vendors, system integrators and resellers to work closely with Wily in support of their enterprise customers. Wily has created customized programs for three categories of partners: Industry Alliance Partners, Business Partners and Technical Partners. Wily also announced the new Wily Integration Network (WIN) today, designed to facilitate the availability of technology from best-of-breed application management vendors to complement Wily’s application management platform.

“Wily created the world’s first web application management solution seven years ago, and we have consistently set the standard for excellence and innovation in the market,” said Kent Smith, vice president of business development, Wily Technology. “We are expanding our partner program to work more closely with leading consulting and application management organizations as they use Wily products in client engagements or develop complementary technology. This enhanced partner program will accelerate the growth of the Wily ecosystem and ensure more enterprises have the essential tools to manage their complex, mission-critical applications.”

Under the expanded program, partners will work with Wily in one of three categories: Business Partners, Technical Partners and Industry Alliance Partners.

BUSINESS PARTNERS: DELIVERING COMPLETE SOLUTIONS

Wily Business Partners include a range of system integrators representing the world’s most advanced consulting companies and highly specialized technical organizations. Business Partners generate valuable new opportunities and markets with Wily by actively engaging and supporting new customers. All Business Partners receive extensive classroom and field training from Wily product experts so they may participate in proactive sales and marketing initiatives with Wily. There are three classes of Business Partners:

  • Platinum Business Partners are Global Systems Integrators with extensive resources capable of implementing major projects across multiple countries or continents. Current Platinum Business Partners include Tata Consultancy Services.
  • Gold Business Partners are proactive business development partners with a proven track record of success and certified technical and sales staff that have significant experience working with Wily products. Current Gold Business Partners include Ad Hoc, Aprisma, Ecetera, ELM Computer, EMIS, Hansky, Intec, IT Frontier, Penta Systems, Selesta and Syrix.
  • Silver Business Partners are business development partners that are trained in Wily’s technologies, including CTC, Komix, Metastore, NEC, Perficient, Prolifics, RFD, Tecnomedia and Webmedia.

TECHNICAL PARTNERS: THE MANAGEMENT EXPERTS

Wily Technical Partners include a broad spectrum of services companies and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). These partners develop specialized consulting services or unique product integrations for Wily products so they may add value to Wily’s growing customer base. All Technical Partners are required to complete extensive technical training before taking an active role working with Wily customers. There are three categories of Technical Partners:

  • Technical Services Partners have successfully completed Wily’s Knowledge Assessment training and are approved to sell consulting services or perform custom application development based on Wily products. Current Technical Services Partners include: Aeritae, Ascendant, Ecetera, K-Tech, Seamark and V2Soft.
  • Technical Development Partners are ISVs or Value Added Resellers (VARS) that leverage Wily software to help deliver robust and highly-responsive applications to their customers. Current Technical Development Partners include: Ecetera, Kainos, Rolfe & Nolan and Seamark.
  • Technical Training Partners are trained and authorized partners that provide training on Wily application management products, including Introscope®, to their customers. Current Technical Training Partners include: K-Tech and Ad Hoc.

INDUSTRY ALLIANCE PARTNERS: DEFINING THE BUSINESS SOFTWARE LANDSCAPE

Industry Alliance Partners are global technology companies that embed, integrate with or recommend Wily products. Wily has industry alliances established with BEA, IBM, SAP, Oracle, JBoss and Fujitsu, including extensive cooperation on product and service development and delivery.
