today announced the availability of its Introscope® PowerPack™ for
Oracle Database. The new product enables IT staff to monitor
key performance metrics of Oracle 9i and 10g databases to
ensure the peak performance of mission-critical enterprise
web applications. An extension of Introscope, Wily's
flagship web application management solution, the PowerPack
for Oracle Database complements existing database management
tools by providing an application-focused view of database
performance. The PowerPack for Oracle Database will enable
developers, IT Operations staff and database administrators
(DBAs) to work together to quickly identify, isolate, and
eliminate database-related performance problems before they
impact customers and business results.

reports of database-to-application activity.

visibility into critical database resources including deadlocks,
full table scans, redo log files, buffer size, rollback segments
and more. It delivers immediate time to value with pre-configured
dashboards and performance-triggered alerts that can proactively
notify application support staff of potential database-centered

before end-users are affected.
