Introscope Transaction Tracer is a feature of Introscope
that allows you to isolate individual problem transactions
in your live production system and instantly identify which
components are causing performance degradation. Introscope
Transaction Tracer enables application support teams to:

- Analyze and correct poorly performing components in specific transactions

Introscope Transaction Tracer tracks individual problem transactions in your live production system.
With Transaction Tracer’s patent-pending SpeedTrap™ technology,
users can set a response time threshold against which transactions
will be measured. Introscope Transaction Tracer presents the user with
a detailed
list of all transactions that exceeded the predetermined
threshold. The user can then select an individual transaction from the
list and immediately
see a component-level performance breakdown showing where
time is spent throughout the transaction. This allows application support
personnel to
easily isolate problematic components in the individual transactions.
